I Am
I am me, I'm nothing other the who my parents raised me to be. I've went through phases like every one else. But I took more away from my phases then just fashion trends and clichés I've found my self and who I want to become. I love my friends and family, the only thing that comes between them are snowboarding, and food.
If I didn't have my friends and family I don't know who or where I would be today. I feel like they were the driving force to make me play sports and for my love of cooking. But they have also influenced me in not the best of ways. Honestly I see my dad as like one of my boys, just because he never grew up; he still loves to have fun and doing stupid things. My friends are there for me every time I turn around. If there's something I need or need help with there they are. Most of them push me to do better and try new things, which got me into snowboarding and cooking.
Snowboarding is me, I am one with the mountain if you treat her right she will treat you even better. I don't know we're to start, snowboarding is like a retreat to an island somewhere in the middle of the ocean in my eyes. There is no other place I would rather spend my life. With the beautiful snow and trees surrounding you, while you are thousands of feet up a mountain side, there is not a more peaceful sight then looking off the top of a snow covered mountain.
Cooking started as a thing me and my dad would do every day after he got off work, but didn't really get a kick start in my life until I moved to Manitou. I also thought what girl is going to want to date a guy who can't cook her a nice meal. I honestly fell I love with the different smells and tastes that I could creat using the simplest of ingredients. Almost everything that I know how to cook I taught my self from flipping through magazines to my great grandmothers cookbook. They all come hand and hand, without one I wouldn't have the other. And with out these I wouldn't be be who I am today.
