Esmeralda Zapata is a portrait and Fashion photographer whodiscovered her passion for photography at a very young age playing with hermother’s Polaroid camera. She iscurrently a student at The Art Institute of Dallas.

In her early years of education she became really interestedin psychology and sociology, human behavior was her favorite subject and itstill is today. Through photography she learns even more about human behavior,it is interesting to see how people are always looking for acceptance andconformity and at the same time they are fighting for a place in society,trying to be unique. Her images combine these two aspects of humanity,individuality and community.
