Born in London, later schooling and several workplaces in Berlin and after dancing on top of the falling Berlin Wall, I then decided to return back to the south of UK to a small place, where creativity and humanity go hand in hand.
I have had various jobs; some exciting, some mundane but still relatively important, but I have always sought jobs with personal satisfaction where I can support other people.
I am volunteer for several local organizations connected with School, Theatre and Carnival and enjoy working with Children creating stage props, paint and show children to be confident and have a laugh, even when things do not go quite to plan. There a 1000 ways to achieve things and they do not always have to be that plainly obvious ...and I should know!
I have been called a 'fiercely independent' person but because there is no 'can't do!' - it's more 'HOW can I do?' that keeps me going. I am artistic and creative (which took me a while to realize that it's a gift that is not readliy available to everyone..) , some say I am highly organized (well do not look into my larder!) and I love gardening/gardendesign, travel and people, but in essence: I love life and people!
After being the 'German speaking' contact for a specialized rights managed digital picture library for nearly 2 years, I realized :I love being able to use my plant knowledge for finding the right pictures in best settings for garden books and magazines. Having met up with publishers and photo researchers at tradeshows in Germany, made me feel very at home with that combination. But I have also gone back to my roots of medicine and re-done my qualifications as holistic masseuse and footcare person after recently helping a friend to feel good about herself, which gave me enormous satisfaction and made me feel good too!
So summarized: I edit /copywrite photos /enter keywords for publications for either English or German speaking countries, advise on regional specialities of UK or Germany, build and create structures/props and do other handywork, maintain gardens and help create new gardenschemes, and finally: make people feel good about themselves and alleviate stress symptoms and advise on general natural health remedies, found in larders and gardens.
However, my list of interests will not end....
