His Excellency Ambassador Gerren O’Neill, an Irish-born diplomat, has cultivated a distinguished international career dedicated to the advocacy and advancement of Indigenous peoples across the Americas. Currently serving as Ambassador-at-Large for the First Nations of America, Canada, and South America, Ambassador O’Neill has previously held posts of Ambassador For The First Nations Of America, Canada and South America and Consul General, where he championed Indigenous rights, cultural preservation, and strategic global engagement.
Ambassador O’Neill is widely recognized for his exceptional leadership in cross-cultural dialogue, policy innovation, and strategic global initiatives. He has consistently championed the elevation of First Nations visibility and influence on the international stage. His diplomatic efforts include high-level and sensitive negotiations facilitating the onboarding of Indigenous Tribes and their leaders into the Federation of the Abroningal Nations through formal treaty processes.
