Harmony York

Hey there, I’m Harmony. I’m a student at North Carolina Central Universal majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. I am originally from High Point, NC but currently living in Durham, North Carolina. I would be the second one in my family to graduate from college. My second-grade teacher inspired me to become a teacher, the way she taught the class and had a connection with her students was wonderful and I loved every second of it. Ever since then I wanted to become a teacher and that is my goal at the end of the year of 2018. I have volunteered at many schools and daycare. I am currently working at a daycare now. In the past I, have worked in retail, fast food and in security field. Outside of school or during my free time I enjoy hanging with family and friends. I like to take trips to a different state every five months and I visit a different country once a year because you only live once and why wouldn’t anybody want to see and enjoy the world. I am a fan of many different type of music, arts and crafts, also DIY’s. My interest range from education, music, fashion trend, tennis shoes, and last but no least money.
