On a wonderful day, when the sun was shining and the sky was clear, I was in my favorite place where no one speaks the same language; I heard children screaming, couples fighting, a businessman working and the man next to him snoring. In this moment the whole world was shrinking into 70 seats, just 70 seats. While I enjoyed the view outside and visualized the interesting world inside, I heard a sudden alert that said, “Please fasten your seat belt.” Another voice screamed, “The plane is crashing.”
Some people cried and others were in complete shock. All I thought was “Is this the end of the journey?” Traveling is the joy of my life. For more than ten years, I have traveled to various places in the world and met people from all over the world. I enjoyed every single moment, which shaped my personality. Then I heard, “Passengers, there was a problem in the engine that we were able to fix; we will be landing in 20 minutes.”
I was glad my life journey was not over; I will have another opportunity to travel, meet interesting people, hear unique music, and eat ethnic food. I strongly believe that travel exposes everyone to unique people and cultures which helps define a more flexible personality.
Because I enjoy travel, I chose advertising as a major. I treat every project in advertising as an
interesting journey. In my opinion, advertising is a collection of experiences that is summarized in one idea, one concept, and one universal visual language.
