Hayley Borich

Positioning Statement:
A multi-dimensional team player with a can-do attitude, professional and leadership skills over a broad range of areas including behind-the-scenes pre/post and live television production, shooting and editing, administration, resource and project management with a focus on quality and cost effectiveness seeks a career opportunity in the communication industry (i.e., film, television, radio, public relations and/or media relations).

I believe in building strong relationships and assisting others in the pursuit and attainment of our mutual team goals.

I am a current student at Western Michigan University majoring in Communications with a concentration in Film, Media & Video Studies and Marketing, expecting to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Fall of 2014.

In this field, I have developed a proficiency in digital editing, digital camera opertion and audio. I have experience in producing commercials and participating in effective marketing campaigns. I have utilized these skills to assist with WMU Homecoming and recruiting for Pi Beta Phi Sorority. As an excellent administrator, I have overseen a number of campaigns for programming, implemented new systems for efficient cost effective operations ensuring deadlines have been met.

I am viewed by my peers as an organized, honest, passionate, loyal and productive individual. I find it personally gratifying to utilize many of the business and communication principles learned in my studies and to be able to put them to practical everyday use. These experiences have helped broaden my perspectives to new ideas and strengthened my core values which serve as a foundation upon which I look to build my career.
