Rafael Ravenet
Groping for realization in a world of change. New Orleans, LA for birth, UMBC 1987, Studied at Hopkins, SAIC. Trained with AGFA, ILFORD, MICROSOFT, GERBER, XEROX as Imaging Specialist utilizing the planet's best photographic equipment. Electronically merged text and graphics on a flat bed scanner as far back as 1988. Taught at Hopkins, Loyola. Defense industries needed imaging, so I got experience at various bases, installations, command centers, headquarters and the like. We won the cold war. I worked with universities as well as corporations- they needed to scale fonts, so we scaled fonts. They needed to download images, we downloaded images. Images. We now need to think about the image. I think about the image. I think about how an image can perhaps open up new ways of thinking- of knowing. I want to know how to communicate a new set of ideas, a new way to live in harmony with our fragile planet. I want to persuade others. I want others to understand how important it is to protect our planet. If not for the our sake, do it for the sake of the unborn- the young. I am a human being equipped with years of experience and know how. I can create, alter and copy an image. I often ask: What image? What image will influence a generation. What image will help change the way we live- help us prosper and find happiness in a manner wholly sustainable and real? I'm looking for that image. In the meantime, I also live in the pacific northwest and have never been married. I read, watch films and videos, paint and write. I'm looking for a puppy.
