I am passionate about creating amazing consumer experiences that improve the quality of people's lives. As a user experience designer, I uncover the latent needs of consumers, drive innovation, and create decisive product differentiation by tailoring a strategy based on a broad view of experience design, emerging trends, and disciplined execution. I am currently researching how to improve user experiences through the use of technologies and concepts like NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE Wi-Fi, micro-location devices (iBeacons), and NFC-enabled smart devices. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my kids, exploring the great outdoors, enjoying fine espresso and locally-brewed craft beer, checking out the latest exhibit at the Minneapolis Insitite of Arts, watching movies, and listening to Transmission on The Current.
