A die hard development and public relations professional, with 11 years of diverse experience encompassing 7 years of managing public relations portfolios mainly in the corporate sector. With a go getter attitude, he was instrumental in developing work priorities and a strategic approach to ensure delivery of public affairs work, developing excellent relationships with political contacts in stakeholder organizations and with officers in relevant government agencies, local authorities and political organizations to enhance mutual understanding, working towards establishing close liaison with the Key stakeholders in the non-government sector with the objective of garnering and mobilizing support for business as needed, working towards designing and implementing social, cultural and scientific activities targeting, decision makers in government , key people and opinion leaders, coordinating with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) for fulfilling their data requirements across Pakistan, effective LEA stakeholder mapping and engagement, monitoring, influencing legislation, regulations being framed in various government organizations and authorities, conflict resolution and complaints handling.
In 2006, he took a strategic decision to shift attentions towards human development through community projects when he assumed the challenging position of Manager Corporate Social responsibility for a large multinational company. For the next 4 years he conceived, planned and executed numerous projects and programs falling in areas such as disasters and emergency response (Earthquake 2005-08, Floods, IDPs), street children, earthquake affected children, vocational education, disability, e-health, m-health, shared access to voice projects and corporate volunteerism. In 2010, he was awarded with the prestigious AusAID Scholarship to pursue and successfully complete Master degree in Australia (2011-12). The opportunity and exposure further strengthened his believe that inclusive human development is the right path for his future professional career. After coming back to Pakistan, he joined Avicenna Consulting as consultant and since then has been involved in a number of development interventions.
