HA Ferdinand writes stories and has done so for a long time. She publishes them independently but is utterly dependent on a little team of experts who get them fit for publication, namely Rosalind, Becca, Carol and Roger. She tells us that while she has a perfectly busy life, all she ever thinks about are stories.
