My passion is to help students see the potential they have to achieve great things that impact those around them. As educators we need to give students the skills they need to be productive creators of information in this new digital age. No longer can students get by as simple consumers of information; students have to create and think outside the box to be successful. Educators need to teach students how to interact and share responsibly in this uncharted landscape of the digital age.

I am the 9-12 English and Speech teacher at Exeter-Milligan High School in Exeter, NE; I also coach speech and drama activities. I graduated in 2010 from Concordia University--Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, holding endorsements in 7-12 Language Arts and K-12 ELL. I am currently taking classes through the University of Nebraska at Kearney for a Masters in Instructional Technology with a School Librarian endorsements. I am married to my husband, Dustin; we are expecting our first child the day after school is out this year. We have a Beagle named Mocha and a Beagle mix named Abe. Besides teaching my other passions are cooking, reading, and traveling.
