Hailey Curtis

I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. I am in my second year of college at Louisiana State University and anticipate to graduate in 2016. I am majoring in Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising, and minoring in Visual Communications.

I currently am the Manager of LSU Student Media Design where I design advertisement for The Daily Reveille and other in-house ads. Designing at Student Media has enhanced my design skills. I am really comfortable in Photoshop and can work in Illustrator and InDesign. I really have enjoyed working for Student Media.

I am my sorority's Executive Public Relations Chairman. This position is in charge of posting timely infomation on all of Phi Mu's social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and website. My experience at Student Media has given me an advantage on my PR position. It has taught me how to keep information short and simple, and also how to design effect ads for our philanthropy events. I have fallen in love with my PR position for Phi Mu, and would love to do something like this as my lifelong career.
