Hairianto started out his emceeing career professionally in 2010 and has since done many gigs, both in his university as well as on public platforms. He is a part of the Youth Emcee Programme at Esplanade and has provided emceeing services to many of Esplanade’s public events such as the Waterfront Series and the biggest alternative music festival in Singapore, Baybeats for three years running. From there, he was talent scouted by National Arts Council (NAC) and has since hosted events such as Noise Singapore for them. He underwent an emceeing course conducted by Singapore Media Academy (SMA) under the tutelage of the esteemed radio deejay, Flying Dutchman. He was also involved as an emcee with a few events organized by Flying Dutchman’s events company. In his university, he is well known by the different school offices for his emceeing talent. He has been the emcee for the graduation ceremony, which is recorded and broadcasted live on the televisions around the university and on the university’s website, for three years consecutively. He has also hosted the NUS Pageant at Zouk. With his bubbly and warm personality, he engages with the audience very well and has received many positive feedbacks from the audience. Both clients and the masses enjoy watching him on stage and the ease and sense of familiarity he exudes. He believes that every gig is a new experience for him and works very hard to better himself. He believes, like what Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.”
