Shagufta Hakeem

I am a recent graduate of Duke University. I graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. This program has been a delight and a nice change to my background in International Business and Criminal Justice.

Three words that best describe me are: interdisciplinary, curious, and cosmopolitan. It does not matter where I am or might be, I always enjoy learning about new things from technology to culture.

I recently completed my research project, which you can read in your spare time. I cover topics on transnational feminist movements to colonial history in India. This is where my love for writing shines.

In my spare time, you can find me geeking out at the latest technology or sharing articles on FlipBoard with friends and family. I also dabble in a little photography with my Nikon D3100.
