HALY BAMBA

Born on october 7th 1955 in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, Haly Bamba, aka Halbama is a pure product of cross cultural mix.

His influences go beyond african music, Pop, Blues, Jazz, classic music and world music. As a result, a long time project on the Album TOMBOUCTOU has kept him working with the finest ivorian musicians. Managing between Banking and Taekwondo to keep going for that joyful sound. Whether it is Afrofiesta or Don Juan, or even Wicked men, Halbama shares his deepest concerns about mankind and overall Africa.

Halbama is a new brand of saxophonist, living out a dream and vision, through his life and rhythms.
