I'm an editor and translator living in Hamburg. I specialize in proofreading, copyediting, substantive editing, and German and French translations. I have a broad range of experience in both technical and non-technical subjects, including software, medicine, e-commerce, blogs, and company websites. I have worked with people from all over the world, which is one of the most incredible things about what I do!

I graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in English literature and also recently completed an Editing Certificate program at the same university. I gained an invaluable skill set from my studies; I learned to think critically, read consciously, and write methodically.

I have lived abroad in Japan, France, and currently Germany. These experiences helped shape me as an individual and further increased my fervor for language and culture. I have edited resumes, cover letters, and theses in English written by German, French, and Japanese native speakers.
