Haley Barrington

For the past 7 years I have worked for the upscale fashion retailer Nordstrom Corporation in Spokane. As a department manager for Nordstrom, I have been able to maintain selling cost and sustain open and constant communication with buyers. Additionally, I have been able to grow, promote, coach and be a mentor to a team of salespeople to ensure successful results.

Along with sales experience I have grown up in and around sports. My father was a high school football coach (offensive coordinator), high school softball coach, and currently is a high school Athletic Director. I have grown up playing sports ranging from gymnastics, to volleyball, and softball at the club and varsity level. I have seen the sports industry from a players' perspective as well as from the coach’s side and most recently, the administrative side.

I enjoy meeting people while growing and maintaining relationships with a variety of clientele through selling services and products. While working at Nordstrom, I have been able to learn and execute the utmost customer service. I enjoy being able to raise the bar and wow customers that I interact with on a daily basis. With online retail sales on the rise, customer service is what continues my success in a brick and mortar store.

While I'm not working, I love to maintain an active lifestyle. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking, boating, and just being outside enjoying the fresh air. I still like to play any sport out there especially volleyball!
