Haley Bretney

Hey, I’m Haley. I’m a Ryerson University student living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm currently working towards a B.A in Creative Industries. My specific areas of study are the music business and communications.

I am very passionate about music. One of my favourite activities is going to concerts. I like working out and have recently gotten into yoga. I am also extremely passionate about sports, mostly hockey and baseball. I am a big Leafs and Jays fan. I was a competitive cheerleader for 13 years, so sport has always been a big part of my life.

I hope to pursue a career in marketing in either music or sports. I love the idea of putting together a marketing plan and seeing it through. I dream of doing this for musicians or sports organizations. As for current employment, I work for Ryerson varsity sports as a music and lights operator. Some key events I have worked include OUA Volleyball Final Four and the OHL Cup. I am very fortunate to have found a job that combines both my passions. I hope to continue part time work in the industry until I finish my degree.
