I am 17 years old and currently a senior in high school. I do competitive cheerleading and am on my high school's varsity cheerleading team. Unfortunately, the summer before my senior year (in July), I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. Due to this, I have had to miss much of my senior year. I have had many ups and downs during my journey over the last few months. I am creating this blog to share my experience with cancer and all the good and bad things that came along with it.
