For the better part of the past eight years, by day I have helped create a more informed citizenry, and by night ... photographed the unique game of roller derby.

Geography and geology were never a strong part of my education, but over the past decade or so, I was a project manager for both of these disciplines for Pearson (formerly Prentice Hall), creating some amazing learning tools, and meeting some marvelous souls who have spent their lives helping students learn about our planet, how we shape it, and how it shapes us.

My own education in sociology, and at times, physics, has come in the guise of roller derby. This tremendous sport has taken over my free hours, and has elevated me to such positions as official photographer, interleague liaison, and even, coach.

The two worlds have each drawn me in with their wonders, and it has been a joy to share them both with friends and strangers alike.

I am presently looking for employment as a project manager, social media manager, rights manager, or photographer.
