I am a researcher and writer based in Hong Kong.

Academic Journey:

My interdisciplinary academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from The University of Hong Kong. I went on to earn two master's degrees in Gender Studies and Research—one from the London School of Economics and Political Science and another from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. I then completed my PhD in Sociology at the University of Hong Kong, during which I was a guest researcher at the University of Amsterdam.

Research focuses:

My research focuses on women in the gig economy, gender and labour, feminist theory, social reproduction, the labour process, and platform economies and cooperativism. My current project investigates women's lived experiences in China's ride-hailing industry while exploring alternative platform organisation, such as digital commons and platform cooperatives.
