Haley Johnson

I am currently a Communication student at Virginia Tech where I am also a member of the VT Club Softball team. My love of sports began at a young age, and I consider myself lucky to be able to continue to play a game that has taught me the importance of teamwork as well as leadership.

When I'm not running around campus like a chicken with my head cut off, I enjoy exploring the nature of the Blue Ridge Mountains, catching live musical performances, and hanging out with my loving friends, family, and pet kitty, Nelson.

I may be from a small town in southeast Virginia, but I love to travel and see what the world can offer me. With visits under my belt to the Carribbean and Mexico, I would love to travel to Brazil or Western Europe on my next trip.

My philosophy in life is a simple one. It is only one sentence taken from a great teacher. "The trouble is, you think you have time." - Buddah. I take it upon myself to always be the happiest I can be. That may mean climbing a mountain one day, and then sitting on the couch for the entire 24 hours of the next day, but as long as I am happy doing what I'm doing, and happy with the people I'm with, it's all okay.
