Why the HVPS page?

Needed a platform to vent and share. Coping mechanism post Bangladesh matches most of the time really. Always down to have an educated discussion.

Just a hobby. Have a full career outside this.

Why this name?

Imagine the mental image of a half volley being pulled square most likely unsuccessfully.

Which country/player comes to mind? A Bangladeshi player, right?

Can’t put this potential stunt past them either. I Don’t know, seemed funny at the time.

What makes me qualified?

Absolutely nothing, just providing my logical take on things based my experience loving, playing and supporting the game.

I am however an expert on the downward spiralling emotional roller coaster Bangladesh cricket is. Having lived through ASIA CUP 2012, World T20 2016, ASIA CUP 2018 and Nidahas Trophy 2018. I guess all of us Bangladesh fans are :).

Cricket experience?

Yes, played competitive cricket at club level all throughout out my youth and senior cricket at grade level for a short period after.
