A self-described tomboy-bookworm-turned-Internet-media-junkie, Halie Hartman is a Web-savvy marketing communications professional with experience in public relations, web content writing, content strategy and analysis, search engine optimization, lead generation, web publishing, and project management.
The second oldest of four girls, the literary character she most identified with growing up was Jo from Little Women, who she credits for inspiring her to pursue a journalism degree from Texas Tech University. Her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism turned into an additional Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Mass Communications, which she graduated with in 2009.
Her educational experience is a result of her desire to learn more about the art of communicating through language, image, and design to creatively convey information. Professionally, this desire turned into a drive to fulfill more than one role in her career, which includes positions as a Communications Manager, Web Content Writer, SEO Specialist, Content Analyst, and News Reporter.
