Hi there, I’m Halimat Chisom and I wear a couple of professional hats.

First, I’m a writer and editor with a knack for spotting problems in all forms of written content within a short period of staring at it. I enjoy teaching people what I know, learning about niched writing like medical and science writing, and helping people (and businesses) build trust with their audience through detailed and informative writing.

Next, I love health and biomedical research. Currently, I'm a PhD Student at the University of Queensland, Australia. I'm using computer programs to explore the human DNA and find answers to cancer-related questions. In fancy words, I'm a bioinformatics scientist.

Finally, I enjoy everything paranormal - reading, writing, and watching.

That means articles and white papers, technical documentation or descriptions for biomedical devices, high tech equipment like sequencers, and laboratory reagents, guides for software packages, simplifying academic research papers for a wider audience, and of course, marketing pieces like blog posts and social media content.
