Marshall Hallack
Harpers Ferry, WV.
Born in Md. in 56, went to Edward U. Taylor Elem. in Boyds, then Damascus Elem. and Damascus High. Dropped out in 10th grade to join the Navy. Got my GED within the 1st year. (took the test in Rota, Spain) While in, took 3 cruises, hit 30 countries. Got out in 77 and started work at NBS in Gaithersburg. (Now called NIST) Was there for 9 years. 1st as a Steam Plant Engineer and 5 as Millwright. Got married in 79, Stayed married for 25 years, then single (dating) for 6 years, then remarried. (this one only lasted for 2 years. I am still single now. Anyhow, became a Commercial Building Engineer for 23 years, then moved into auto mechanics for 6 years. Presently unemployed.
