I created Fibromadness in 2010 to provide an online community for people with fibromyalgia who want to be their best. A Fibro Gal myself, I was diagnosed in 1997, with fibromyalgia. Soon after came diagnoses of bursitis,anxiety,osteoporosis,NASH,IC, Diabetes 2,Raynaud's phenomenon,sjögren's syndrome and IBS.

For years I struggled, taking test after test and trying a wide assortment of medications, different therapies. Over the years I have encountered many situations with people. Many don't know about Fibromyalgia or have heard of it. It is an illness that people just don't get. Some think it is not real and you look fine.

There are plenty of days that I don't feel great - but instead of fighting it, I've learned to go with the flow and have fun . I've had a ton of help, from my doctors,friends and my family too. Today, I have my good days along with the bad. I've learned to take each day as it comes.

My mission is to educate and empower those individuals whose lives changed due to fibromyalgia. I strive to advocate on behalf of those who cannot get proper medical treatment. I attempt to educate society that fibromyalgia could be a lifelong problem. I raise public and professional awareness for those who are unfamiliar with fibromyalgia, the factors that often result in having fibromyalgia. I encourage these in the fibromyalgia community to never give up the search to help themselves or families and to reach their full potential in learning how to live a life in pain and still love life.
