Hi, I'm a guy living in Melbourne, Australia. My life at home is shared with my wife, four young adult "children", and two grandchildren. My time during the weekdays, at present, is mainly taken up working at a local Community Health Centre doing substance abuse counselling with people going through the courts or parole. I enjoy sitting quietly practicising Knowledge, watching "my" football team play and spending time with family and friends. Apart from that I spend a lot of time trying various ways to lose weight.
Over my life, I have been able to spend time enjoying seeing my children and grandchildren grow and enjoy life. I guess I'm lucky that way. Unfortunately, there are people all over the world struggling to feed and educate their children. In Sub- Saharan Africa, 80% of the poor are small farmers. And 75% of their children go hungry. These farmers cannot grow enough to feed their families.
- The Kickstart program is a program that is already offering access to water for small farmers in Africa and wants to expand its support to farmers throughout more areas of Africa. This simple program, providing access to the most basic of people's physical needs, has the potential to provide an opportunity to bring water and food to a lot of people who want to enjoy seeing their children and grandchildren grow and enjoy life.
