I'm a writer, guitar player, and an all around fun guy. I attend classes at Youngstown State University for Professional and Technical Writing; I also work at Best Buy selling dreams.
That whole writing thing is mostly why I'm here. My dream is to work as a technical writer or editor for just about anywhere who would be willing to have me on the team (I'll work hard for you, I swear). I love working in a team environment, but I'm more than capable handling things on my own if need be. Words are what I spend most of my time on, so I'm eager to get out in the field and turn my passion into a career.
I've also had some poetry published. The few acceptance letters that I have do little for my ego, as the vast majority of rejection letters dwarf them in comparison. But it's still pretty cool.
Oh, and I also help produce a litterary magazine where we publish poetry, fiction, and nonfiction for the masses. We also publish a featured artist ever issue. You can check it out here:
Jenny is named after the Jeanette blast furnace that once stood proud in my hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. It represented progress, life, and the strength of the working class and Youngstown itself. Since its beginning we've aimed to make Jenny an outlet for hard working writers and artists everywhere. To date, we've been read on six continents (with a sled team en route to Antarctica to get all seven) and something like 70 countries.
For the longest time I've lived and breathed for that magazine. It's mine, and a select few others adopted baby. We'd love your support.
