I completed my undergraduate education in Agricultural MechinaryEngineering at the University of Urmia,Iran. Before beginning graduate studies at the University of Tehran—which is a highly competitive educational institution. I have always been interested in Agricultural Machinery Engineering because it combines two very different and complicated fields (Agriculture and Mechanical Engineering). I enjoy the challenge of understanding the intricacies of both fields, identifying problems that require solutions, and creating something new using this knowledge.

In addition to eight years of work experience in several major companies in Iran, including LG and Iran Khodro (the nation’s largest manufacturer of vehicles), I did research for my master thesis “Investigating the displacement of soil by tillage blades.” This research involved the dying and filming of soil and the use of several softwares. I am currently in the process of comparing my results to those of previous studies in scientific journals site such as Elsevier and Springer.

Upon completing my doctoral work, I hope to teach in a university and conduct research in energy, biomass, agricultural equipments and the use of new technologies such as GPS. I taught for two years in a university in Iran and received positive feedback from my students because of my people skills and enthusiasm for the subject. I think that I will enjoy teaching and be effective in transferring knowledge to students using my people skills, and hope gain additional experience as a Teaching Assistant or Graduate Researcher.
