Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the man I am today

In the Pacific Northwest born and raised
On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school
When a phone call came that wasn't very good
Making my parents all nervous and frightened
My grandfather had a stroke, it was real bad
They said 'We're movin' back East to be closer to family'

I begged and pleaded with them day after day
But we packed our suitcases and were me on our way
We ended up in Ohio were I claim residence to this day.
The people are kind of nice but not as funny.

High school, yo this ain't bad
Taking AP classes like they were nothing.
Feeling real smart like I know I should?
Hmmmmm this might be alright.

Going to college, a big first step
Is Roberts ready for this cool cat?
I don't know
I'm still trying to figure it out
Maybe a double major will help me out
