I am Hamidah Sẹ̀gílọlá Abbas, a knowledge worker.

At the age of 10, I completed my first manuscript in my language, the Yorùbá language.

Fast forward to 3 years, at the age of 13, out of genuine concern for the society, I submitted three articles to at-Taleem magazine and all of the articles were published. All. Three. Not one. Not a single one was rejected. And certainly, all praises belong to ALLAH.

Some years later, in february 2016, I set aside my feelings about the permission of polygamy in Islam … and I started preaching what I believed as the truth — that every woman must be willing to accept it.

A few months later, Almighty ALLAH guided me to the “No-Polygamy” clause of the Companions, recorded in al-Mughnī (Volume 9, page 483).

I was deeply surprised. I had never heard of this. So I went into serious research. Then I wrote everything —from A - Z in a Google Doc. It was supposed to be a letter. Well, it turned into over 200 pages of answers. If you have a question about polygamy in Islam or the No-polygamy condition. It has been answered inside my Polygamy Google Doc. And all praises belong to ALLAH for the light of knowledge.

What I am up to Nowadays

Most recently, in 2026, I was guided and blessed by ALLAH to create a private telegram channel — the 🌺 Hall of Light🫀. It's for sincere seekers and deep thinkers.

I am talking about those who accept the truth even if it's against their strongest desires.

To put it simply, the hall of light is a private telegram channel where I share words that are too heavy for social media.

The public isn't ideal for my completely unscriptedspeeches, so I have stopped updating the public telegram channel.

As for the private telegram channel, I am still updating it. However, I don't post on it daily or weekly. I only post if I genuinely have something to say. Everything I talk about inside the private telegram channel can be summarised as — the reflections of a Muslimah living in the 15th century of the Hijra Calendar.
