Consultant, Software Engineer, and Shopify Specialized in New York, USA
World-class or 3rd class. That idea has shaped how I live and work.
I am Hammaad Yousaf, a New York-based entrepreneur, technology leader, and CEO of Swishtag.
I have always believed that the quality of what we build reflects the quality of our thinking. Something does not become world-class because it is expensive or complicated. It becomes world-class when it solves a real problem, feels simple to use, and genuinely improves someone’s life or business.
My journey started as a software engineer. I was curious about how things worked, but even more curious about why some ideas succeed while others disappear. Over time, that curiosity took me beyond code and into leadership, branding, marketing, product development, and business strategy.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of all those areas.
At Swishtag, we are helping modernize the promotional products industry through automation, connected software, e-commerce, and AI. Many distributors are still working with disconnected systems, repetitive tasks, and processes that slow down their growth. I want to help change that.
My goal is simple: help this industry achieve world-class results through better technology, better systems, and better experiences.
I have built teams, launched digital products, worked with businesses across different markets, and participated in international entrepreneurship and business forums. I am also Meta Blueprint-certified in media buying and media planning.
But the titles and certifications are not what motivate me most.
What matters to me is building something useful. Something people can trust. Something that makes work easier, businesses stronger, and progress possible.
I am not interested in technology for the sake of technology. I care about what it can change, what it can simplify, and what it can help people become.
I am still learning, still building, and still trying to raise the standard of everything I touch.
I don’t complain. I contribute.
