I am a journalist who works on the human rights to safe water and sanitation, with over twelve years’ experience in diverse aspects of journalism in Tanzania.

I have been deeply involved in promoting water access in rural Tanzania and reporting on water issues. Working close in the field with local communities has enabled me to understand deeper the water crisis that people are facing.

Currently, I have established a radio show called Sauti Yangu, which means ‘My Voice’. This is a unique and powerful show that engages citizens, amplifies their voices, and asks for the government or institution's response for solving the water crisis in rural areas.

I believe amplifying the community’s voice can reach policymakers and change many people's lives.

Sauti Yangu is one of my important projects that has enabled access to water in Morogoro, Tanga, and other regions. The 30 minutes program explores rural citizen’s water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facing Tanzania.

I have dedicated my professional career to serving the community, as I have a strong focus on making sure that my work generates an impact for affected communities.
