Hannah Berman

Hello, my name is Hannah Berman. I am twenty years old and currently attend Arcadia University as a junior. I attended Upper Moreland High School (go bears!) in Willow Grove and am currently working towards a Bachelor’s in Communications at Arcadia. My dream is to be a successful event planner once I graduate. Planning events gives me such joy, no matter how small or large the event. Last semester, I joined the student programming board (SPB) hoping that this would give me some insight and experience into planning actual events on my college campus. I am also a member of knight club, my school’s dance team, where I hope to successfully choreograph a large group this semester. I have had several work study jobs while at Arcadia. My freshman year I worked for the Office of Community Service; I would go to Glenside Elementary School down the street for a couple hours a week after their school day had ended to help with homework and supervise them on the playground. My sophomore year I worked for the Media Support Office where I would set up equipment such as laptops, projectors, and microphones for events (usually in the castle) on campus. That summer I worked in the Human Resources Office doing work such as alphabetizing, filing, and putting packets together. Also, that summer I worked in the school’s one-stop-shop which deals with things that range from work study to student’s bills to financial aid. I answered phones and whatever questions I could not answer myself I directed to a counselor. I have loved my time at Arcadia University and am excited to see what it has in store for me in the next couple years.
