Hannah Taylor
I have achieved BA Hons Degree in American Studies & Media Studies at the University of Winchester.
I have experience of working in a customer focused environment . I am able to use Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, Publisher and Powerpoint and learn new skills and ways of working easily.
Whilst studying for my degree I had to use my research, written and communication skills in writing essays and reports including my final year project which looks at the input and impact made by the audience on the production of reality television in America.
I have also written blogs and been involved in both individual and group presentations for assignments. As part of my research for one of my Political Science assignment whilst I studied in America on an Exchange at the University of Southern Maine I had to liaise with and interview representatives of several different organisations both over the phone, via email and also face to face.
I have a keen interest in my community, having taken part in various charity sporting events, including a 6 mile walk for the Heart of Kent Hospice. I have been part of the support team for Race for Life and taken part in other charity events. I have also acted as a sports coach at the Kent Youth Games.
I was a member of a Sorority whilst studying at the University of Southern Maine which required me to use my interpersonal and communication skills and I was also involved in several charity and community events as part of this and some team and trust building work.
I acted as a mentor for students taking part in the American Exchange programme for the University of Winchester including providing information about the exchange programme to students both individually and by presenting information to a larger group of students.
I play ladies hockey for Gravesend Hockey Club and University of Winchester 1 team. I have achieved my Level 1 Basketball coaching award and Junior Sports Leader Award. I have been a member of the Gravesham Youth Council.
