I was born in Pennsylvania in a small town called Cambridge Springs. After about three months of my life, my parents decided that it would be best for our family to move down to Atlanta as there were more opportunities, and we've been here ever since. I have one younger sister who is the love of my life and one of my favorite things about UGA is how easy it is for her to come and visit me on the weekends. One of the major themes of my life has been community service as it is a passion of mine. My favorite experience has been with the theater group I volunteer for called Habima Theatre. It is a program designed to show men and women with various mental handicaps that they are fully capable of putting on a full scale production; and in this group I have been an actress as well as a costume designer and assistant. I attended Marietta High School for all four years of high school and I am a graduate of the IB program there. This has shaped who I am as a person as well as it allowed me to form relationships with not only my peers, but my teachers as well and the work ethic and time management skills that I have today can be largely attributed to my experiences with the program.

Some of my favorite life experiences so far include my trip to Germany that I took with my school as a two week exchange. I made some great friends in Germany and I still talk to them two years later. My partner and two of her friends whom I met on my trip are going to be coming to visit me for a month after Spring semester is over this year, and we are currently working on all of our plans for the trip. Another defining moment of my life was my first trip to the Bonnaroo music festival. I went the summer before my senior year of high school and then again this past summer. The festival further solidified my appreciation and tie to music and since my first trip I have not been able to make it more than a month without feeling the itch to attend another concert. Music is something that I hope I never lose a love for, and I would really like to further my skills as a musician if I am ever able to find the time to dedicate to practicing playing my guitar.

My parents got a divorce when I was in the 8th grade and since then my sister and I have split our time between the two homes. This has made my transition to college that much easier because I did not have the initial shock of not being with my parents and being able to talk to them all the time like many of my friends. My
