I was born in Pennsylvania on my dining room floor because my mother was going through a hippie phase and wanted a natural birth with a midwife as opposed to a doctor. We moved down to Marietta, Georgia when I was about four months old and I have lived there ever since. I have a younger sister whom I love with my entire being, and have missed greatly while being here at UGA. School has always been a major part of my life and I have been expected to succeed academically so I've come to love learning, and plan to continue to expand my collection of degrees upon my completion of my undergrad here. I come from a divorced family with parents who fail at communicating with one another which has allowed me to become independent and responsible at a younger age than most.

Some of the things that I enjoy that help describe who I am as a person in the present include knitting and hiking. These are the two things that will lift up my spirits no matter what else is going on in my life and I partake in them as often as I possibly can. I love music and always have something playing in the background wherever I am and concerts are my favorite thing to go to when I go out with my friends. I love travelling and exploring everywhere, and I hope to take advantage of the abroad opportunities here at UGA as much as I possibly can and to continue my travel experiences as an adult in my career. I would love to do so by working with organic farmers across the world to improve the accessibility and practicality of organic produce for the masses.
