I have always loved concerts. Something about a bunch of people coming together to hear music is so beautiful to me. These people come from completely different places, they have completely different interests, and they experience completely different lives. And yet, for one night, they all unite in order to soak in the notes being sung in front of them by some sweaty artist holding a microphone. I can decide to go to a concert last minute and spend under $20. Or, I can pick up a few extra shifts and spend an unreasonable amount of money for crappy seats at a Harry Styles concert. My first ever concert was Miley Cyrus. It was right after her reign as Hannah Montana and right before her wrecking ball quarter-life crisis, so it was really the sweet spot. Hearing the crowd come together and chant her name was so captivating to me, even as a young elementary schooler. The energy an arena has is unmatched. That is the same I, someone who has no true understanding of sports, is always happy to attend a game. Arenas are basically an open invitation to scream whatever you want as loud as you want. I mean, where else could I find that?
