Hannah Eyare Ewa

Project Manager, Public Speaker, and Consultant in Calabar, Nigeria

I’m Hannah Eyare Ewa, a social entrepreneur, community strategist, and project manager based in Nigeria. I care deeply about people and how systems affect their ability to thrive, especially children and underserved communities.

My journey into the social impact space began in 2020 when I started volunteering with Street Priests. That experience shaped how I see the world and set me on a path of building programs and structures that create real, lasting change. I studied History and International Relations at the University of Calabar, where I wrote my final year project on the impact of Street Priests in the lives of street children in Calabar.

Today, I serve as the Director of Admin and Human Resources at Street Priests. I lead our internal systems, oversee HR operations, track team performance, and manage documentation. The organization still operates with a start-up feel, so a lot of my work involves building from the ground up. I enjoy this because I love people management, and I believe that clear systems, strong leadership, and healthy communication are the foundation of any effective team.

Over the years, I have organized capacity-building programs for over 1,000 young people, trained over 500 through workshops, mentorship sessions, and hands-on leadership experiences. My focus is on helping others grow into confident, capable individuals who can lead change in their own communities.

Beyond my role at Street Priests, I am the co-project lead of Games and Chill, a community event that brings people together to relax, connect, and experience joy through curated games and playful activities. We host editions across different cities and build each experience with intentionality and heart.

I am driven by purpose, committed to thoughtful execution, and constantly learning how to build systems and experiences that truly make a difference.
