Hannah Jeffrey

TL;DR: I wrote the stuff in the links below. You should read them.

I'm a rising third-year journalism student at the University of South Carolina. In the fall, I'll be editor-in-chief of The Daily Gamecock, USC's award-winning student newspaper. Until then, I'm interning at the Charlotte Observer, covering whatever happens next and learning how to maintain a website.

Over the last year, I went from news staff writer to assistant news editor to news editor at The Daily Gamecock. Last summer, I interned at Hearst's D.C. bureau for the Houston Chronicle and San Antonio Express-News and studied journalism at American University.

I've been called Leslie Knope with Emma Stone's voice, which is a pretty nice thing to call somebody. When I was five years old, I wanted to be a crossing guard. Now I'm 20 years old, and I want to write for SNL, so I've put my crossing guard dreams on hold for the time being.

Check out my twitter @hannahjeffrey34. You can also read my Summer 2014 blog, "News Line Is It Anyway?" in which I recap my summer through .gifs and caps lock. My clips can be found in the links at the bottom of the page.
