I grew up in south Florida fishing, diving, and surfing the shores of the east coast. I grew up fishing the coasts as well as diving them all while appreciating its beauty and value. My friends would call me the golden girl as a child because I was always incredible tan. Keeping me away from the ocean was practically a sin. As I grew older I started to realize the problems that there are in the ocean- the pollution and plastic. I deemed it my mission to save the planet. Together my best friend and I jumped on the eco-entrepreneur wagon. Come March we will be the founders of a new eco-friendly swim wear line called Hülya Swim. Our fabrics will be made from recycled fish nets and all our packaging with be environmentally beneficial across all aspects. I look forward to motivating women through their bodies and saving the planet one bikini at a time. I came to a realization that if I weren’t to be the one to take a stand and truly renovate my life along with others than who would? I believe if my partner and I can play our cards right will be the next big movement and I plan to make a difference.
