Hannah Routly
Peterborough Ontario
I currently work as Manager of Stewardship for Trent University (since October 2014). Previously I spent 6 years as Executive Director for the Health Services Foundation. Still going strong with over 17 years in the charitable sector.
Growing up in Warsaw (northeast of Peterborough), I attended Warsaw Public School and graduated from Lakefield Secondary School. After high school, I moved (escaped!) to Toronto to attend the University of Toronto where I graduated with a B.A. from the business co-op program.
Upon graduation, I turned to nonprofit work and spent 5 years working for a small charity called “Share the Warmth”. While this organization no longer exists, it left a legacy of the importance of utility/energy assistance.
I moved back to Peterborough in 2003 and worked for 6 years as the Area Manager for the local Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Outside of work, I volunteer for Kairos Non-Profit Housing of Peterborough, and I am Treasurer for the Peterborough Area Fundraising Network. The MS Society is also close to my heart and I walk with Team Raphael every year.
I make time to spend with my family and friends, enjoy local concerts, restaurants and events, and remain an avid reader of non-fiction books.
