Hannah Samuel

Hi, my name is Hannah Samuel. I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, but am currently residing in Toronto, ON, Canada. I am a student at Ryerson University, studying the Creative Industries. In my free time I am an avid sports viewer, traveller and dabble in art. I am also passionate about fitness and healthy eating. I find great enjoyment when I am exercising, playing basketball and ultimate frisbee.

Although, I am only a first year student, I have high aspirations for a future in marketing and event planning and would love to work in the sports industry. My dream job is to one day move back to Vancouver and work in the event planning or marketing department for the NHL Canucks hockey team. My previous job experience includes helping create a new inventory system for a furniture and design store in Vancouver, including creating the design layout of 3000 SKUs, that appeal to both the customer and provide ease for the salespeople. I have also been involved with the Ronald McDonald House Charities where I aided with the set up for their galas and events.

My love for event planning sparked during high school when I planned all graduation related events, and has only grown from there. I look forward to furthering my passion for sports, sustainable living and event planning as I continue my education and work.
