Hannah Stone

Hi, my name is Hannah Stone and this year I am embarking on a big adventure and I want to share it with you! I’m not going to try and pretend I’m anyone other than just an ordinary 20 year old.. but I’ll be going to some pretty extraordinary places.

I’m a journalism student from Perth, Western Australia and I’m taking off on the journey of a life time. I will be spending the first half of the year on student exchange in Aarhus, Denmark at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.

My diary of experiences studying abroad will be available for you to read so you can learn about what it's like settling into a new country, studying abroad, learning new skills, overcoming challenges, developing myself, and meeting new people from all corners of the world.

After that I will see where the wind takes me and travel and WWOOF around Europe to discover what the world has to offer!

Travelling on a budget always has it's challenges but makes for some very unique stories that I would also like to share.

I will try and travel as much of Europe as I can in six months without rushing so I can immerse myself in all these wonderful cultures that are so new to me.

I should also be getting a realistic impression of some home and family cultures when I WWOOF on farms, working in exchange for lodging and food. It will be a great opportunity to be a part of something and I look forward to learning from it!
