Hannan founded iCodejr to plug the gap within the conventional school curriculum for STEM. “Almost all tech innovation occurs in the West. It’s time we levelled the playing field by upskilling the youth in the region to help innovate and get future-ready”.

A London School of Economics alumnus, prior to iCodejr, Hannan has held various leadership positions at leading financial institutions such as JP Morgan, Barclays & Fiserv. He started his journey teaching children how to code, and has personally upskilled over 300 students.

Hannan has also co-founded Code Battle, a non-profit initiative that conducts hackathons for schools across the region to allow students to showcase and hone their coding skills. These hackathons are free for all to participate in.

Hannan is an avid golfer, and when not building iCodejr can be found on the golf courses of Dubai. Hannan also dedicates some time giving back to the startup community by mentoring younger startups in the edtech space.
