Hans Biebel (Chicago)

The professional background of Hans Biebl of Chicago includes service as a submarine officer in the United States Navy for five years, during which time he provided leadership on the USS Connecticut. Mr. Biebl's time on the fast-attack nuclear submarine, which has a home port in Bremerton, Washington, included two overseas deployments to the Western Pacific. He served as an officer-of-the-deck on his final deployment and led a team of 30 personnel in multiple intelligence-gathering missions that provided intelligence critical to national security. Mr. Biebl also held the positions of Damage Control Assistant and Reactor Controls Assistant on board the USS Connecticut.

Hans Biebl maintains a strong community presence in Chicago and is active with Steppenwolf Associates, an organization that brings young professionals together in support of the Steppenwolf Theatre and its Young Adults Program in Chicago. Mr. Biebl also supports the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
