Hao Liu
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Who Am I:
- 21 years old (1994)
I'm Hao, AKA Michael.
I've loved technology since I was very young, ever since receiving my first console, the Nintendo 64.
End of this year, Ill have an degree in Computing and Software Systems and would have learnt new languages and technologies to make cool stuff I've always wanted.
My career goals has always been making apps for portable devices, a good example would be the current trending smart watches. As well as being a professional web developer.
My hype to achieving these goals spiked last year as I took 3 major subjects for my course, these 3 subjects made me understand more what needs to be done to become what I wanted. It also introduced me to the usability and user experience aspect of modern technology.
As the years go by, I gathered many experiences and skills. The one I find most important to me is how it changed my philosophy when developing. Which is heavily linked to the UI and UX aspects of development. It is easy to create a piece of software, it may be complicated, very useful, but hard to use. But it is far more difficult to make something that is intuitive to the user, simple to use, as well as being useful.
