Becca grew up surrounded by the women in her family practicing all avenues of needlecraft. Encouraged to be creative from a young age Becca learned to sew, embroider and knit. She fell in love with knitting and after discovering Etsy as a shopper in 2006 decided to open her shop Happiknits Handmade Knits & Knitwear in 2007.

Becca started collecting vintage buttons as a teenager which led to a love of all things vintage. Decades of shopping early morning vintage markets to add to her collection. She loves to use vintage buttons, lace, flowers and ribbon in her pieces to create whimsical hand knits. She also believes in supporting other Etsy sellers by using handspun yarn.
